Hola! Since returning from Puerto Vallarta I have been on the hunt for a fun new coat to help brave the 15 degree days here in Charlotte.  An extreme cold front was not the, “welcome home” I had hoped for, but I’m making the best of the situation.

When it comes to outwear it’s important to find something that is stylish, and yet functional. While outerwear can be somewhat of an investment, it is possible to find quality pieces for more reasonable prices.  I have linked a few of my favorites for you above that I feel are stylish, well made, and affordable.

For those of you that read my blog, you know that when I splurge on any piece in my wardrobe that it is nine times out of ten a neutral color.  Well, I feel that same with coats, capes, and blanket scarfs (are your surprised?!)… it’s best to purchase neutral colors that are versatile, and can be worn with many different outfit combinations.
