Today’s post is coming to you from Aspen, Colorado. Being in this beautiful, snow-laden town during the holidays is so magical, and is quintessential of the Christmas season.

This is truly one of my favorite times of the year – not just for obvious reasons like friends, family, food or any excuse for a soirée, but because there is so much to share!  From travels, holiday attire, giveaways and everything in between, it’s easy to fall in love with the Holiday season.

Speaking of soirée, this evening my husband and I are attending a fun event being held for guests of The Little Nell. While a dress was the more obvious option to wear for the semi-formal occasion, I opted for something more suitable for the wintery weather here in Aspen: slacks and a delicate Cooper & Ella lace blouse.
