The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale just wrapped up after getting us all in a frenzy for fall, but I still have my sights set on soaking up every last bit of summertime. With North Carolina temperatures projected to reach the 90’s this coming week, August, and myself, are nowhere near ready for sweater weather. While retailers are starting to make way for next season’s styles I’m continuing to delay the craze for fall and take full advantage of Summer Sales as long as possible (it’s the best time to stock up on timeless staples for next year).
This Goodnight Macaroons blouse has been a go-to piece in my closet this season. The embroidered detail and bell-sleeves made it hard to pass up. It’s one of those pieces that can fluctuate between delicate and feminine or boho and trendy depending on how it’s styled. For this look, which I wore for our drive home (Charlotte) from a long weekend in Charleston, I kept things casual and went with DL 1961 denim cut-offs. I was first introduced to the DL 1961 brand last summer, and I immediately feel in love with the quality of their pieces. I featured a pair of their distressed denim, here, if you’re interested in reading more.
Staying in a summer frame of mind, I jumped at the opportunity to pull out my favorite pair of illesteva sunnies and . They’re both great additions when in sunshine or out and about, and effortlessly pull together an easy daytime look.
For those in favor of maximizing summer style until the very very end of the season I encourage you check out Goodnight Macaroon. They recently restocked a lot of their inventory, and every Tuesday off 50% mark downs! I’m drooling over this floral midi skirt.
