Hi beautiful friends!
I hope y’all love this look as much as I do. All week I was itching to share it with everyone, but waited, figuring it was the perfect post to kick off the weekend! The loud pink hue, pop of turquoise, and side dutch braid are the perfect combo and totally appropriate for a Katy Perry concert.
I am such a sucker for anything pink! Although, I have to say, loving the color and wearing it are two different animals. I am fan of neutral undertones, so when it comes to my wardrobe I prefer a paler, powdery hue of the color, but sometimes you just gotta live a little, right?!! I purchased this dress from LuLu’s, one of my favorite places to shop for fun summer frocks. If you missed my post last week on LuLu’s, check it out here.
Most importantly this dress is fun to wear. Obviously comfort is key, but if you enjoy the way something walks, flows, slenderizes your waist, or falls on your back or chest, I suggest wearing it. From my experience I always look my best when I feel my best; and nothing is more attractive than a women that is confident in her own skin. Recently, I have noticed a lot of my close girlfriends make the comment, “…but TR, you can pull that off…”. It’s not about being able to pull something off, it’s that the outfits I put together (regardless of how impractical they are for the occasion) are fun to wear. Others can see that.
I hope this post finds you well. Also, please comment and let me know what your most fun thing to wear is!!!
