Several weeks we got lucky with some of the most beautiful weather, temperatures even reaching the 80’s here in Charlotte. When the weather outside is beautiful, it always inspires me to get a little more dressed up than usual and to take advantage of the warmth.
I couldn’t wait to wear this striped skirt the moment I got it. The mix of colors, the full skirt and the tea length all make it one beautiful piece. I love a good tea-length skirt (or dress). They have a ladylike feel that fashion is missing so much of these days. I paired the skirt with a ruffled neckline romper (yes, romper, can you believe it?) however, I’ve linked several affordable look-a-likes: here, here and here.
Most days, you’ll usually find me in a pair of ballet flats, but every so often, I’ll slip on a pair of pumps or heels to add an extra pep to my step. These Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals are the chicest and most flattering pair I own. I had some less expensive alternatives for about a year that didn’t last and so I finally got myself the ‘Nudist pump‘ after eyeing them for so long. I love them so much I also purchased them in black and gold. They were my go-to for dresses and skirts last season and I don’t foresee that changing.
Today we are planting a wall of Madison Jasmine alongside the open brick of our garage and picking out a few gas lanterns to have hung and installed around our house. Be sure to follow along on Instagram stories for a little behind the scenes action.
xx,
Taylor-Rae
