So, if you’re a girl of a certain age (college or beyond), you know all about Vera Bradley. Known for her brightly colored bags, purses, wallets and every kind of accessory under the sun, Vera bags were enormously popular during my middle/high school years and throughout college. And with good reason – the totes are amazing, and they come in almost every colorful pattern imaginable. Not to mention, the quality is amazing; they are thick and durable and hold up even in the worst conditions.

However, as I’ve grown older, I’ve also outgrown the bright floral patterns that make Vera Bradley’s pieces so distinct. That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised when she began creating more luxe pieces to add to her collections, incorporating materials like leather and accents of calf-hair. Most recently, I came across this Vera Bradley leather backpack, and fell in love with it’s nod to a preppy, schoolgirl vibe while still being extremely versatile.
