One of the greatest things about living in North Carolina is getting to experience the four distinct seasons each year. We have white winters (on occasion), colorful falls, flora filled springs, and sunny summers. While I love them all, autumn is what I look most forward to each and every year!
My love for autumn lies parallel with my love for dresses! And, I’ve been unintentionally wearing this same combination of a sleeved dress and boots repeadidly this fall. While my style tends to be more tailored and refined, I’ve always been partial to a great print, like this spotty dress, or this floral number from Nordstrom. Dresses are professional and yet extremely comfortable for days when I am tucked away in my office, which is perhaps why I am such a fan.

Another closet staple, and something I deem worthy of investing in, is a pair of black boots. This season there are so many beautiful options available like these Ivanka Trump over the knee boots, or this pair from Via Spiga.
For this look I went with a fresh face and a bold lip after being inspired by the oxblood hue worn in the Burberry London fashion show last month. To accessorize this look I choose a felted floppy hat, and my Vera Bradley calf hair satchel.
xx, Taylor-Rae.
