Can we talk about distressed denim for a second? Honestly, I haven’t paid for a pair of worn & unraveling jeans since the age of boy bands! Even today I think it’s lucrative to pay $200+ for jeans with hole’s in them, and so I made it my mission to find the perfect pair for what I believe to be a reasonable price! One afternoon I unexpectedly found these Banana Republic Distressed Boyfriend Jeans hiding in an unorganized pile of clothes in the dressing room (thank you to the person who purchased them online only to return them at the store). And, get this, they are only $98 dollars! Crazy! I mean, let’s face it… finding the perfect pair of jeans in any style can be a difficult task. They’re so many details you have to look out for like fit, wash, detail, style, fabric, length, and comfort; however, these from BR had all the right details and the price is great compared to that of department store labels.

What’s also great about distressed/ boyfriend jeans is how versatile there are! You can pair them with a fun blouse, pumps, or blazer to dress them up, or a graphic tee for more casual feel. The unraveling patches also add the effortless look that I always look for in certain pieces.
