Black is and has always been a necessary neutral to have in your wardrobe.  Lately, I have purchased not only a lot of black, but black and white stripped pieces.  In addition to floral, stripes are my favorite print to style.  They can look both sophisticated and edgy.

Not only was this post inspired by my recent purchases, but what I wish I had to pair with them.  Toping my wish list for several years now are the black Mason Valentino Rockstuds and the black classic Celine handbag (a girl can dream right?!).  Of course, if I am going to spend $2,000 on a handbag it think it’s necessary that it be a versatile, year round color, like black.
