Nude. While color is probably not the first thing that comes to mind, the flesh-tone hue has become a wardrobe staple and makes quite the style statement (if worn correctly). In my opinion, earthy tones are extremely classy, versatile, and polished, which is why I always, almost instinctively, opt to wear the soft neutral tone.
I have always been a nude pump girl. They practically go with everything, and perhaps the most notable piece of awesome-ness about a nude shoe, is their ability to elongate anyones legs. Standing at 5’4″ I love the extra boost. Who you calling shrimp?!
As for this outfit, my inner neutralist wins again (shocker)! I chose to pair this organza top with a white skort. Skorts have always impressed me. They remind me of being a little girl, when I would wear them in fear of little boys seeing my unmentionables on the playground. Now as an adult I can appreciate the built-in safety net! So, as you can imagine, when I laid eyes on this modern C.Wonder skort, it was love at first sight. It’s made to appear as a skirt in the front, yet they are really shorts complete with pockets in the back. Genius.
This outfit was quickly put together before heading out to dinner one evening. It was our first time shooting at dusk. Location: Wentworth Mansion, Charleston, SC.
I hope this post finds you well!
