Ladies grab your shades, because this look is bright! I have to give a shout out to Mother Nature for inspiring this look. The weather in North Carolina has been so beautiful, and I felt I needed an outfit to match! One of my favorite things about dressing for warmer weather is that it’s totally acceptable to pair opposite and extreme colors and call it, “color blocking”. While it’s fun, and definitely makes a statement, it has to be done correctly to look stylish. First, I would suggest keeping the color count to a minimum. Second, if you have a patterned piece that you are focusing on, I would suggest choosing a solid colored article of clothing that complement’s a color within the pattern or print. Lastly, bold accessories add a fun element, and when coordinated correctly can make a statement all on their own. So, this spring and summer brighten up your wardrobe with traffic stopping colors!
Happy Tuesday, TR
