Dress: ASOS | Shoes: Stuart Weitzman | Clutch: YSL | Sunnies: Prada | Earrings: Bauble Bar

Although the Southern Blog Society conference is several months away my excitement is through the roof, and I have already begun to dream up wardrobe options.  While looking chic is a top priority, it’s important that I consider Charleston’s weather in June – holy humidity!  So, to beat the heat I have been searching online (one of my many guilty pleasures) for pieces that are unique, stylish, and light weight.  At the moment, my plan is to take a lot of dresses, cute sandals, and fun accessories, similar to the outfit collage above.  What I love most above this look is how clean and tailored it is.  The subtle neutral accessories complement the dresses floral design!  Plus, this dress is less than $100 dollars (and it’s lined… whaaa?!).

In addition to a great wardrobe, there is much more to take into consideration when packing for #SBSCon.  Things like external phone chargers, extra memory cards for my camera, business cards, oil wipes, trail mix (I get moody when I go long periods without eating), pens, notepads for notes… it’s all pretty self explanatory!

The experience will be unbelievable to say the least.  There are so many wonderful speakers, sponsors, and hosts that are all coming together for the event.  Conferences like #SBSCon, that bring women together, and educate us on how to grow our blogs, are beneficial for numerous reasons.  First, it takes a great deal of patience to build a successful blog and brand.  I find comfort in knowing women who understand the level of commitment and dedication it takes to succeed in an already saturated industry, like fashion blogging.  Therefore, I look forward to meeting so many like-minded women who share similar interests.  Second, this conference will bring together industry experts who can educate from experience.  At #SBSCon there is a great panel of speakers that will touch on everything from analytic’s and accounting to photography and how to monetize social platforms!  All in all, it is going to be a really great experience, and I am so excited to be in my favorite city with great (and stylish) company! 🙂
