You know the pieces that, despite all of the countless outfit options in your closet, are guaranteed to get you through the day? The ones that you alway gravitate toward? For me that’s always been a dress, especially during warm weather months in the South. This summer, the LWD (Little White Dress) to my delight has overcome my wardrobe. Crisp and effortless, this classic summer staple is perfect for Charlotte’s heat and humidity.
With the push for fall fashion in preparation for next season, retailers are slashing the prices on some coveted white frocks. It’s a great opportunity (and excuse) to purchase yourself a new dress, and in today’s post I’ve put together a few of my favorite options for you to consider. Not only are there two months left of Summer, but when paired with a denim jacket and the right bootie or slide, a white dress can be easily transitioned for Fall.
These are also wonderful options for any of you brides-to-be out there who will be tying the night come Fall/ Winter. Take this opportunity to find a beautiful dress for all your upcoming bridal events; engagement party, bridal shower and rehearsal dinner, as I fear there will be less options to choose from within the upcoming months.
There are limited sizes available in the dress I am wearing below, but I wanted to share it (here) for any of you that are interested. I purchased it for $45 before our trip to the Bahamas and sadly never got around to sharing it on Style Souffle. In fact, I’m working on a post highlighting some of my recent, some fall-forward, purchases that I am afraid will sell out before I am able to share them on SS (it’s just too hot to wear them now), so stay tuned.
