Chivalry’s Still Alive

Last week I found myself working in my husbands office, as I needed to be close by for reasons I will explain later.  And though it may sound silly, spending my days working alongside him was something that I really looked forward.  It allowed me to see how much hard work and dedication he puts into running a successful business that he started at age 17, and the effort that goes into providing for our growing family.

That said, with Valentines Day just around the corner, the hopeless romantic in me wants to make our first Valentines as husband and wife a memorable one! Life’s all about celebrating the little moments, right? Speaking of romance, from the moment I met Justin, he showed me that chivalry is still alive and I fell in love with him the old fashion way. From the smallest things like opening my door to five years later, he still writes me love letters – only now in a journal he gave to me on our wedding day. That said, if you have any unique or thoughtful ideas for celebrating Valentines Day, I’d love to hear them. This year I need to up my ante and embrace being a Mrs.

xx,

Taylor-Rae
