If you are anything like me, and like to wear comfortable shoes throughout the week, then this post is for you! I’ve always loved the idea of throwing on a comfortable pair of ballet flats and running out the door, but usually, I’ve settled for inexpensive flats from Target or Aldo that are “par” at best.
Come to think of it, until last year I had come across very few designs that had mastered the art of both style and comfort.
That all changed last Fall when I had the pleasure of meeting Alexa Buckley & Sarah Pierson at a local event here in Charlotte, NC, where they were showcasing their shoe collection, Margaux. The duo had just launched launched their made-to-measure collection with the mission of creating classic ballet flats that meet the demands of modern life.
During the event I had the opportunity to try on a pair and speak with the women about the concept behind the brand. While simple in there design, I learned that the classic ballet flat is universally known as being the most difficult shoe to engineer. Who knew?! After doing extensive research, Margaux was born, thus revolutionizing the classic design of the ballet flat into one that provides all-day comfort.
What makes Margaux unique is the ability to own a lasting pair of shoes there were created according to the specific measurements of your foot.
