This is truly one of my favorite times of year, when the crisp air begins to whisper in my sun-loving, Carolina ears, that fall is just around the corner.  Now twenty-something, I’m quickly reminded of all those childhood memories like carving pumpkins, baking pumpkin seeds, and decorating for the holiday’s.

My love for fall and suede fringe are one in the same; the two pratically go hand-in-hand. This Alice and Olivia suede fringe skirt is a great transitional piece for change of seasons. The fabric is a staple of cooler months, and yet the fringe adds texture to an otherwise simplistic skirt.

Being that NC is still experiencing a hint of summer with it’s warm afternoons, I paired a white sleeveless blouse from J.Crew. There is something so classic and effortless about black and white.

To complete this look I polished my lips with YSL matte lipstick for a pop of color. Also to balance out the look I paired it with silver pumps and silver jewelry.  Of course the look wouldn’t be complete without a leather backpack (thanks mom)!
