My apologies for not updating my blog over the past week or so  – life has a way of sneaking up and snowballing out of no where.  After taking a much needed break to spend time with my family and close friends I am back on track for what feels like my busiest year yet.

I’ve been itching to share these photos from my recent travels to Chicago where I had the opportunity to shoot with Josh Ohm. This was my first time visiting the windy city, and I left with a burning desire to turn around and go right back! As exciting and unique as Chicago is, it is the people that make me miss the city so much. I found everyone to be so welcoming and friendly, helping make CHI town feel more like home (certainly not what I had expected).

While there I wore this suede fringe skirt from ASOS, which you may have seen in an inspiration collage I put together a few weeks ago.  Fringe, aside from lace and chiffon, is one of my absolute favorite things to wear.  It’s as if each piece comes alive when you walk adding just the right amount of texture to an outfit!

According to ASOS this skirt is grey, although it looks like a shade of green online. Nevertheless, it’s unique in color and would pair well with black, brown, tan, and/ or white (I’m all for versatility).  For this look I chose to keep things minimal with a simple white top and silver pumps. This top is an investment for sure, so before you freak out know that I wouldn’t recommend something if I didn’t think it were worth every penny!  Prior to purchasing this top I had read wonderful reviews online, and when I saw it was a part of the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale I was curious to see what all the fuss was about.  So far it has lived up to the hype, and will get a lot of mileage this fall/ winter.

If you have any questions about sizing or specific’s please don’t hesitate to reach out!  I also love hearing your feedback!

xx, TR
