There is nothing I love more than a unique, one of a kind piece like this little cut out top from Francesca’s! It’s unlike anything I own, and adds texture to any outfit!  What I mean by “texture” in an outift is… using a print, pattern, or detail to create a visual depth to an ensemble! There are so many cute tops available along the “cut-out” theme, however, I always prefer it be something tasteful.

Take for example this Halston Top from Saks, which I love by the way.  It offers a unique separation between the body and sleeve of the top to create a natural focal point for the eye. Right?!  And, the large sleeve offsets the solid color.  It is those little details that I love about fashion.  How I see balance in an outfit is unique to my personal tastes, and the end result is an outfit that is completely my own!

So, next time you put together an outfit try adding a bit more texture and don’t be afraid to pair different patterns.  It’s usually those unexpected combinations that create the most memorable looks!  If you have any questions about a specific outfit or balancing a look please don’t hesitate to reach out! 🙂
