Do you ever walk into a store and instantly find everything you’ve ever wanted that you didn’t know you needed?  Maybe all of the time?  That’s my story.  I was in Banana Republic a few weeks ago and found this skirt only to find these amazing pumps seconds later.  The best part about it, they were both on sale!  The floral print paired with the overlapping horizontal and vertical strips give the skirt a high fashion flair.  The pops of turquoise are also an added bonus!

I chose to complete this look with a solid color chiffon tank, which I sported in a previous post on pleats!  These two pieces are basically perfect together and here is why…

1) The skirt’s cut is very flattering.  It cinches at the waist and hips, and gracefully glides away from thighs. Can I get an Amen?

2) The top is blouse-like, and when loosely tucked into the skirt it makes your waist do a disappearing act.  Perfect, right?!

Skirts are elegant and fun to style, especially when you’re working with patterns and prints. So this summer keep cool with skirts.  Also, don’t forget to head over to www.BananaRepublic.com and check out their amazing sale!
